What does the new Blüte logo mean?

If you've visited Blüte recently, you may have noticed a new logo appearing across the website and socials. I wanted to take a moment to explain the story behind it, because there's a lot more meaning in this little design than meets the eye.

Why the change?

When I first started Blüte almost two years ago, I only had a full set of 7 crystal singing bowls. I never imagined back then that Blüte would grow into the holistic wellbeing space it is today.

The original logo, a dragonfly resting above a crescent moon in soft blue tones, reflected that beginning, and the original tagline, Pure Sound, Deep Serenity, spoke directly to that first offering. The dragonfly symbolised change, joy, courage, adaptability and transformation, while also embodying the connection between the physical and spiritual realms. The blue represented calm and serenity, the colour of open skies and still water, and connected naturally to the soothing, pure tones of the crystal bowls. The crescent moon reflected the vibrational energy of the bowls themselves, along with intuition, spiritual growth and the cycles of change and renewal.

Since then, Blüte has grown beyond sound alone. Alongside sound meditations, I now offer Reiki, cacao journeys and circles, SoulNar Sound Healing Energy Therapy, women's circles, chakra based sessions for children, a SoulNar Crystal and Tibetan Singing Bowl certificate course, private celebrations, and community gatherings. Blüte has become a holistic wellbeing space, not just a sound bath practice, so the name, tagline and branding needed to grow alongside it. That's why you'll now see Blüte Sound Therapy & Wellbeing, with the new tagline Pause. Reconnect. Thrive., rather than Blüte Sound Bath Meditation & Therapy and Pure Sound, Deep Serenity.

What's in the new logo?

The new design holds onto the heart of the original while reflecting how far Blüte has come.

• The crescent moon remains, representing intuition, spiritual growth and the cycles of change and renewal that sit at the centre of all healing work.

• Leaves now grow from the moon, symbolising ongoing growth, new beginnings and the idea that we are always blossoming, never finished growing. This also carries forward the meaning of Blüte itself, the German word for blossom.

• The dragonfly remains too, tracing its way across the design just as it did in the original logo. It still carries its original meaning of change, joy, courage, adaptability and transformation, and the connection between the physical and spiritual, a thread linking the new chapter back to where Blüte began.

• Three stars sit alongside the leaves, representing pause, reconnect, thrive, Blüte's new tagline and the foundation of every session offered. The three stars also hold a deeper, layered meaning: the connection between body, mind and soul, and the connection between past, present and future.

• A person can be seen emerging from the crescent moon. This represents the journey each of us is on, moving from where we have been into who we are becoming, supported and held along the way.

Together, these elements tell the story of a space that supports the whole person, body, mind and soul, through every season of change.

Why brown and green?

The colour palette has shifted from the original blue to a warmer brown and green. Brown represents grounding, stability and a deep connection to the earth, qualities that feel important for a space that now supports people through real, embodied healing work, not only sound. Green represents growth, balance, harmony and renewal, echoing the leaves blossoming from the moon and the ongoing nature of personal growth. Together, brown and green reflect a more grounded, earthy and holistic feel, fitting for everything Blüte has grown into.

What happens to the old logo?

The original dragonfly and moon logo holds a special place in Blüte's history, so it will remain on my shop products. Over the coming months, I'll be gradually updating signage, and other materials to the new design.

Thank you

Blüte continues to grow because of the people who have walked through these doors, joined a circle, or simply taken a moment to pause. Thank you for being part of this journey. There's a lot more blossoming still to come.

Pause. Reconnect. Thrive.
