Mental Health Toolkit

The Daily Reset Toolkit

Your mental health doesn’t need a complete overhaul. Sometimes it just needs a reset.
Here’s my go-to toolkit for those days when everything feels heavy:

Morning grounding (5 min):
Before checking your phone, sit quietly and take 5 deep breaths. Notice three things you can hear, see, or feel. This simple practice tells your nervous system “You’re safe, you can start the day calmly“.

Midday sound bath (10-15 min):
When stress peaks around lunch, I put on some binaural beats (calming sound frequencies) to relax or singing bowl recordings. It’s like a massage for your brain. No effort required, just put on headphones / earphones, press play and let the frequencies do their work.

Sacred pause (whenever):
Pick one daily activity, for example making coffee, washing your hands, walking to your car and do it with full attention. No phone, no planning, just being present for those 2 minutes.

Evening brain dump (5 min):
Before bed, write down anything swirling in your mind. Doesn’t need to make sense. This practice has saved my sleep countless times.

Remember: You don’t need to do all of these. Pick ONE that feels doable today. Small steps still move you forward.
